Parasara Maharishi and Prashar Lake

Parashara is a Rigvedic Maharishi and author of many ancient Indian texts such as Parashara Smriti and Parashara Samhita. Parashara was the grandson of Vasishtha, the son of Shakti-muni, and the father of Vyasa.
